Wildfires

Wildfires have been normal as long as we have had terrestrial plants and must have had big impacts on the earth ecosystems.
The number of fires have increased in the last years, also in unexpected locations like permafrost areas.

Wildfires can cause damage to property and human life, impact biodiversity and climate change.
Wildfires can potentially have a reinforcing feedback loop of climate change, where increased heat and dry climate increase fires and consequently large fires release more carbon back into the atmosphere, creating further global warming.

In the animation and article about wildfires found on this page, we adress different challenges with wildfires and how you can protect buildings through the use of our Firebreather® products with flame and ember stop.
